School toilets are vital. They might be the smallest rooms in the school but they can have one of the biggest impacts on pupil health, education and happiness. Toilets were transformed into areas that the school is now proud of and discourage vandalism in the most cost-effective, environmentally friendly way. The washroom re-design and the subsequent specification included a newly installed polycarbonate roof bringing a maximum amount of light into a space which lacked it before. New toilet cubicles and sanitaryware were installed. New design encouraged these young children to learn how to use the washroom correctly. Replacing all tiles and painting the walls meant surfaces were easy to clean and met modern standards with slip resistance and hygienic finishes.
