Medway Road III

Currently at Stage 3, the project involves the extension and extensive refurbishment of a Victorian terrace within the Medway Conservation Area. The proposals include a new side-return extension, reconfiguration of the ground and first floors, new kitchen and living spaces, bathrooms and utility areas, alongside upgrades to the existing house and fenestration.

The design is being developed in close coordination with the structural engineer, with the structural strategy directly informing the internal layouts, openings and relationship between old and new. Each element is being refined together to maximise space, natural light and functionality while arriving at an efficient and carefully considered structural solution.
